Yuasa Batteries is once again proud to enter the 2021 MotoGP racing season as sponsor to the HRC Repsol Honda Team and MotoGP champion Marc Márquez.  This year also sees the HRC Repsol Honda Team welcome Pol Espargaró​ for the 2021 season.

Since 2013 Yuasa has been a major sponsor of HRC Repsol Honda, and have seen 8 successful MotoGP seasons in that time. Márquez made history in 2019 after winning his sixth MotoGP championship, and after spending most of 2020 on the sidelines after a mid-race accident Márquez is raring to go with the goal of a record breaking seventh title in his sights.

Teaming up with Márquez for the first time is new teamate Pol Espargaró, who joins from Red Bull KTM. The Spanish racer has 118 MotoGP races under his belt with 7 Podium finishes, coming in at a close fifth place in the 2020 championship. With the start of the 2021 season, the two Spanish riders are now team that everyone has their eyes on as they take a go at another championship.


 

Yuasa has a long and successful partnership with Honda and is a major original equipment (OE) supplier to the manufacturer, along with most other major bike brands. Over 90% of bike manufacturers fit a Yuasa battery at the point of manufacture due to the high quality, reliability and performance offered by the units.
